Reliance Jio Rolls Out GPS Tracking Devices with Unified Number Connectivity – All You Need to Know

Reliance Jio launches JioFind GPS tracker with unified number connectivity via JioThings app

Reliance Jio has launched two new wireless GPS trackers in India under its JioFind Series—the JioFind and JioFind Pro. These trackers are built to help users keep track of vehicles, school bags, luggage, and other belongings nationwide. Both models run on Jio’s network and can be managed through the JioThings app.

The JioFind Series offers real-time location tracking across India, covering highways as well as remote areas, with uninterrupted service even when crossing state borders. Thanks to Jio’s number-sharing feature, the trackers can operate using the same Jio number as the user’s smartphone—eliminating the need for a separate data plan.

JioFind and JioFind Pro: Key Features

The JioFind is equipped with a 1,100 mAh battery, delivering a backup of three to four days. Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for school bags, luggage, and smaller belongings.

The more advanced JioFind Pro packs a 10,000 mAh battery, capable of lasting three to four weeks on a single charge. It also features a magnetic mount for hassle-free attachment to vehicles, a convenience not offered with the standard model.

Both devices support up to five geofenced zones, sending alerts whenever the tracker enters or exits these areas. Users also receive overspeeding and low-battery notifications. For added security, the trackers offer remote voice monitoring, enabling users to listen to surrounding sounds or capture short audio clips.

Compatibility and Connectivity

Users can link up to five JioFind devices to a single Jio number through the JioThings app. Each tracker comes with a pre-installed SIM card and is restricted to work exclusively with an active Jio data plan.

For charging, the devices support Type-A to Type-C cables, while Type-C to Type-C connections are not compatible.

JioFind and JioFind Pro: Price and Warranty

The standard JioFind weighs 41 grams, while the JioFind Pro weighs 297 grams. Both trackers are available in black and come with a one-year warranty. The JioFind is priced at Rs. 1,499, whereas the JioFind Pro costs Rs. 2,499. Buyers get free service for the first year, after which an annual renewal fee of Rs 599 applies.
