Koo app is an alternative app to Twitter, built for Indians in order to share their views using Indian languages. This is available in-app and website version and won the AatmaNirbhar innovation challenge and is a made in India service as per the vision of PM Narendra Modi.
Union minister Piyush Goyal, who is quite active on Twitter, announced on Tuesday he has already opened an account on the app. for the government’s “disagreement” with Twitter. Ravi Shankar Prasad (Electronics and IT Minister) has already joined the platform and has a verified sign. Several government departments, including IT, Indian Post, and others have verified handles on this platform.
The app was developed by Aparameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka. The app is available in several languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Odiya, and Assamese.

How to download
The koo app can be downloaded from the Google play store and the iOS app store. It can be accessed from the web app too. All the users need is a valid phone number on which Koo sends an OTP for the first-time registration process.
